I really love your theme! It’s awesome.
This is a feature request:
We lately have in germany the demand to mention the source of any image/video/embedding. Especially with stock fotos the source should be highlighted. E.g. a small transparent box at the left or right bottom mentioning eg “source: istockphoto”.
For assets in the asset wordpress pool a source field may be added.
For Videos this may be done throug the link directly.
Is it possible to add an source field to media assets and display it in the theme?
I really apprecate your help!

@definemf – Hallo, darüber ist das letzte Wort noch nicht gesprochen. Der (Kölner?) Richter konnte den technischen Aufwand + Praktikabilität nicht abschätzen und hat deswegen dem Kläger recht gegeben (eigentlich gings ja um eine Honorarforderung). Aber das Verfahren läuft noch. Allgemeingültig ist ein einzelnes Urteil sowieso nicht, sondern gilt nur für veröffentlichte Fotos dieses einen Hobbyfotografen.
Egal: Ich orientiere mich a) an die großen Stockfoto-Anbieter und Bildagenturen (die das auch für riesengroßen Quatsch halten) und b) an die normale Online-Presse (SPON, FAZ, SZ etc); solange die nichts ändern, mache ich auch so weiter wie bisher: Quelle/© in der Bildunterschrift.

I just found this awesome wordpress plugin image source control isc http://wordpress.org/plugins/image-source-control-isc/. It has a couple of advantages of using the caption. You can force the authors to fill a source field, add a source to every image as source and not as caption (thinking in shema) and it also is able to add an image source list to the end of every article.
However it seems to have a bug/problem either with the latest wordpress version or the newpaper theme. I opend a bug report in the wordpress plugin page.

not all plugins work with out theme.
please understand that we cannot make the theme compatible wit all the plugins, is simply impossible.
we also had some issues when wordpress 3.9 was out,
hope to fix your problem
