The site URL is business-stability.com. We’re in the early stages of design.
The homepage was originally created with WPBakery. The top edge of the first image was cut off – probably 40px.
Then, we tried the Tag DIV Composer. That caused the sides of the image to be cut off – about 40px on each side. We tried different settings and that didn’t help.
So, we went back to WPBakery and the top edge is cut off again.
It would seem that this should be really easy to resolve, but where’s the information? In the documentation? On the forum?
The image size is 1000 X 510.
Does the container size for the top image need to be enlarged?
What is the default and current width of the page?
Thanks,
-

While we’re addressing the image at the top, I have a question about how it is displayed on mobile.
The top image is not responsive for mobile devices. It doesn’t adjust to display the full width. It only displays the middle of the image.
What needs to be done to make that top image responsive.
Thanks,

I’ve tried several possible solutions since submitting this question.
For one I’ve uploaded a slightly wider image 1021 X 500. There was a webpage comparing Newsmag with Newpaper that stated Newsmag was 1021 wide.
The wider image made no difference. The top of the image (fellow’s hair is cutoff).
I’ve configured Newsmag previously a few years ago, and it was fairly easy to configure. This time??
I’ve asked a few different questions. Please answer all of them.
Thanks,
Hello awtown,
First of all, please notice that we do not recommend using both plugins in the same way. If you have created your website with Visual Composer it’s not recommended as this page to be edited with TD Composer and reverse, sorry! Notice that from the beginning you have to use a single page builder. Some information about the transition between Visual Composer and TD Composer can be found here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
I do not exactly understand what you mean regarding on container size of the top. What kind of image do you want to be enlarged? Provide some useful screenshots.
The current width of the page is set up by default to 1021px wide and also, the theme does not support to be in full width or increase the actual layout.
If is not what you mean, provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks.
Below the main menu at business-stability.com there is an image. It’s 1021 X 500.
The top portion of the image is cutoff. The fellow’s hair and top part of his head is sliced off. It appears as though the image only displays up 400 px. How do I get the entire image to display? I have a screenshot on my PC, but how and where can it be attached to this message?
Secondly, While we’re addressing the image at the top, I have a question about how it is displayed on mobile.
The top image is not responsive for mobile devices. It doesn’t adjust to display the full width. It only displays the middle of the image.
What needs to be done to make that top image responsive.
Alright, I’ve solved the image issue. In TagDIV Composer, in the Single Image element there is a field to define the image height. I’ve tried that before and highlighted the default value, but it wouldn’t permit the value to be changed. Now it does.
But, The image is blurry. The image in WordPress media is 1021 X 500. And, in the TagDIV Composer the site is 1021 wide and the image is 500 in height. The image is 300dpi.
What’s the problem? Why does the image look horrible?
