My images are not showing up in posts.
Here is the scoop:
In my media library, I just added this image (got-peace) and it shows up fine in the library.

Click on view and you get a page where a box shows not the image.

Click on the box and you see the image: http://gatherinsight.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/got-peace1.png
why is there a conflict showing up where it does not immediately show the link correctly?
I did a test post and clicked on add media and added that new image and hit publish. When I view the new post the image shows as a box.
How can we fix this?
I am stuck till this gets resolved and am super behind on the relaunch of my site. Please help? The guy who was helping me yesterday has not followed up.

I haven’t found any issues like you described so please let me know if yous till have issues with this and provide more details and a link to a post which has issues of this type.
