Here are the screenshots that will explain everything.

I tried updating to the latest version, still the same. I tried rolling back to the previous version of WordPress and the Theme itself, still the same.

Hi,

Seems the theme icons are missing or cannot be loaded for some reason. The theme uses images from this folder
https://www.screencast.com/t/SDPTs7DR
They are used for the theme panel, page builder etc. Maybe the theme has not been installed/updated properly. Check if the images folder is present in the theme folder, in the WordPress install. If there is no problem there and the images are present, check with the browser inspector and see if there are any errors in the console

Thanks

The icons are there. URL is seo.wrestleview.com

This is the error I am getting in the console:
Failed to decode downloaded font: http://seo.wrestleview.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/newspaper.woff?15
(index):1 OTS parsing error: incorrect file size in WOFF header
(index):1 Failed to decode downloaded font: http://seo.wrestleview.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/newspaper.ttf?15

Those would be the theme internal fonts, these are used for various theme elements, such as the socials and menu for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/FUVkHDPOtfr
But the font seems to not load properly. Maybe your hosting provider could provide some details about this, as to why the theme fonts cannot be decoded

In some cases the icons are replaced by other characters even

Hi Simion,

I checked with my host and everything is fine.

I have checked the MIME types and I could see Nginx already has those types added within the configuration file.

I have now updated the Engitron(nginx) on the server where the mime types has been updated,

Change log for v1.8.10:

“Updated Nginx mime type definitions (covers additions to documents file types, web fonts etc.).”

So there is no issue with Nginx for MIME types from server end.

Please let me know what else it could be.

Thanks

Hi,

You could try re-installing the theme (by FTP if possible), additionally deactivate all non-theme plugins as test. Check if this has any effect.

If there is still a problem, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, FTP and cPanel access if possible. Maybe we can identify what could be the cause of the problem. Please also include a link to this topic in the email.

I’m also having this same problem.

Hi,

@saint71
In the case from above the issue was fixed by reinstalling WordPress and the theme. The above user mentioned that he reinstalled WordPress, then reinstalling the theme fixed the problem in that case. You could try the same if possible. Let us know what happens.

Thanks
