I just purchased and installed Newspaper on my site. For some reason, the site will not display any images when this theme is applied (featured images or images in posts). They appear in preview, but do not appear when they theme is applied. When I reapply other themes, the images show. I tried reinstalling the theme, but that did not fix the problem.
Also, changes made in the settings for the various blocks do not apply either and some of the image based blocks are not appearing.
Any help would be appreciated. I spent a lot of time narrow my theme selection to this one and am disappointed thus far.

I suspect that this kind of issue might be caused by interference between your untested plugins and our theme. As you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/HIgFptUnDiQ we have a list with our tested plugins which the theme was tested and works properly. If you are using some untested plugins, it could interfere with our theme and produce js.errors. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache, purge CDN file if you used and instal only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
