Images in frontpage disappeared after Newspaper v9.2 update

Hi,

I’ve just updated my Newspaper theme to v9.2, as well as WPBakery Page Builder to v5.6, and I noticed that the images for my custom frontpage are not showing up.

I’ve downgraded the theme back to v9.1, and the images on my frontpage has returned. I think there may be some issues with the theme itself, and I hope that it gets fixed.

Hi,

After the update please clear any caching the website may have, also purge CDN files. We are currently investigating some reported issues with the images.

If the issue remains after doing this, please try and disable the lazyload for the time being

There is an investigation currently concerning an issue with the theme lazyload feature, sorry for any inconvenience.

Just clear your browsing history in the browser and everything works

disabling lazyload in the theme panel > template settings, worked to resolve the issue for me.

Clearing the browser cache and any other cache the website might have, also CDN when used, seems to fix the issue with the thumbnails in most cases. We will monitor the situation and continue the investigation in this case.
