Yesterday i have updated the newspaper theme to Newspaper version: 9.2.2, After that all the images are not showing in the home page. My domain name is thepolicytimes.com . Please have a look and requesting you to fix the issue.

I have a similar issue, the template doesn’t seem to automatically make default pictures so they are displayed on the main page from the pictures in the post anymore. So I have to set the “default picture” every time I make a new post.
This is especially problematic with videos, because it would mean that we’d have to make a screenshot of the video so that a picture would be displayed and upload it – and it was done automatically before. See the last videos here: http://www.novinarji.si/category/video/
Any chance of fixing this or letting us know what to change so these things would be done automatically again?

@Partha P. Pal it could have been a caching issue as all images are present and working fine. We cannot see any issue from our end. We can detect the rocket loader issue however so please disable this from our cloudflare.
@jernejpro The featured video thumbnail creation still works just as before. We experienced no such issues on any of our installs. You could be facing a plugin conflict preventing the creation of featured images based on the featured videos. Please test without plugins to see if the thumb gets created.

Hi Bogdan, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that didn’t solve the problem. Any other ideas what could be wrong? I was checking the settings of the template and didn’t find anything, but maybe missed something. Or maybe I’m missin one of the plugins?
ps. We are embedding Vimeo videos only – could there be a change at Vimeo or has this only happened at our web-site?

For me this works as intended. I tried testing some of your videos by setting them as featured videos, it doesn’t work for me as well, because of the privacy settings of the videos

Maybe you have privacy settings or restrictions for the videos and the theme cannot access it.
Also in some previous cases but with YouTube when thumbnails were not pulled, it was related to the PHP version, if you use an older version please try to change it to version 7 or 7.1 for example.

Hi, thanks, great, this one works! It must have something to do with privacy settings, even though we haven’t changed anything, and I’ve changed privacy settings with videos now and it still doesn’t work. But your video made a thumb, so it must be something connected with that.
