I am looking to create a mega menu with images
1) 32 sub pages with a small icon in front of each line
2) 4 sub pages with large image like you show in many of your templates
However no matter what I do the images don’t show.
Can you give me complete run through on how to get images and thumbnails in a mega menu

The theme provides 2 types of mega-menu, with or without sub-categories. Here is a guide

The “Fashion” menu item is a mega-menu with sub-categories, and the “Gadgets” menu item is a mega-menu without sub-categories. Both display a module with thumbnail.
If there is a problem when creating these types of menu, or they don’t display properly, please post a link to the website so I can take a look. Let me know.

So you would like an image before each category in a mega-menu with sub-categories

By default this is not possible, currently there isn’t any option to allow this. The website you mention uses a single image that contains all the logos as background, then positions the background so that the icon matches the team

Maybe it could be done with some CSS, something like this – http://prntscr.com/odgepc if you should consider it I will try to help you with it.
The thumbnail sizes will be the same in both the mega-menu types. For the “Rejser” menu item simply create a mega-menu without sub-categories. It will look exactly as the in the theme demo.

I still have no idea, where to line up the mega menu.
Can you take me through the process, where I select the pages that I would like to place in the mega menu. I don’t get the “Mega menu” option in th dialog box when editing the menu structure.

The option to create mega-menus should be available for all menu-items

The category which you wish to be used in the mega-menu can be set there.
There have been cases however when various plugins removed this option from there. If it doesn’t appear for you, please check if it is a plugin conflict. Let me know.

Well the problem is that we do not have the bottom section from “Move down one” and onwards. That is NOT avaliable. We have downloadet and use the theme Lifesyle magazine.
You may check new.gulklud.dk and see that we use the default mega menu, but we cannot edit the existing, add new, og create our own.

That option is available by default when the theme is active, it does not require a plugin to be installed. Are you sure it is not a plugin that removes it? In all similar cases from before, a plugin was the cause.
Try for example to deactivate the plugin that adds those image and title settings

The mega-menus work with categories and posts. A mega-menu can’t display pages. If you want to display a page in the menu, you could do it like this

A menu item can display one page, when hovered. But this means you would have to create 32 menu items in order to display 32 pages in the menu, which is not quite practical to do.
