Make sure that the image that you try to set in the post content is enough big to be display bigger, maybe that is the full size of image.

What you can do is to change the image size that is display in flex block on homepage, edit it with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/1Vm9rh3.png -> https://i.imgur.com/len5XqK.png -> https://i.imgur.com/eSNOsy5.jpg

The image inside the article can be edited only from inside the article, when you load an image you can select the size -> https://i.imgur.com/Bgs7F5c.jpg also you can resize it like this -> https://i.imgur.com/qCQfPPQ.png suing Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/Ot3SOmG.png also in some cases there can be some plugins that affect the size o image.
