Can you tell me please how to disable ajax images load feature?
I don’t know why, but it cause very slow images load problem (feel like it’s load one by one with long waiting process).
Patient: http://applemix.ru
Server load 0-30%, we use nginx with nginx microcache option (try to turn off, doesn’t change anything) + phpfpm with opcache. Before (with previous custom theme) we have 0-2 sec load for mainpage, with newsmag is from 6 to 20 sec… and gtmetrix time line show’s horrible images load speed.
Hi,
Could you provide more details about what ajax images load feature you refer too and also try to use the speed booster plugin and this page speed guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-speed-guide/
Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi, Lucian!
Thanks for fast respond.
Maybe i call it wrong, maybe isn’t ajax load.
Better just check my vdo of this problem – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJJ3y92VAh8&feature=youtu.be
As u can see page load very fast, but images… (it take exactly 7 sec like gtmetrix test)
Is it passible to turn off this “lazy load” feature?
and also try to use the speed booster plugin and this page speed guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-speed-guide/
– i follow all steps from this post, nothing helps with this images disaster..
Did you fully clear your server cache before and after switching themes?
We have our own dedicated server with caching, and mod_pagespeed, and with couple of sites we need to “clear” everything to get one site to load files properly, as some of the old code/theme stuff was cached and so the images were, in effect, doing some kind of redirect, almost like a loop.
Couple of good clean house cleaning on the server cache and a full server reboot and it all worked again.
Not saying it will help … but I’m running couple of image heavy sites and stuff loads fairly quick.
