Images arent showing.. Any ideas?

turn off the lazy loading image effects; often an issue;
check for console errors; F12/ in chrome.

The images seem to be loading properly now

Usually plugins are to blame when image problems are happening, But there could be other causes as well. If this should happen again follow the advice from Chris, and check the console for errors.
