I am using Sportpress plugin that works fine on other websites except the newspaper theme.
Whenever I click on one of the players it is trying to open the image with “The image #1 could not be loaded” – but it works fine with other themes. Here is the example, it should link to the page that the name below the image links to. What is causing this?

Unfortunately the plugin is not tested with our theme so i cannot say for sure if it will work 100%. The image issue can be caused by the modal image. Try to disable it from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/yD34qLxn

Would that not be on posts? It is an actual page I need it to work on, I really need this fixed as it will be the only theme it doesn’t work with which I don’t understand. The website becomes pointless if this plugin doesn’t work on this theme as it works on tons of other themes I use.
Its strange because when you make the players statistics appear, next to the player – click on the players photo and it takes you to the page. But when you choose to just display the picture it is trying to open a picture rather than the link on your theme. Like I said above it doesnt do this on other themes I use it on.

We understand your issue but unfortunately the plugin is not tested with our theme. We cannot provide a precise answer based on an untested plugin. Try to fiddle with the settings a little bit and disable the modal image as i showed above as it opens up when you click the image. If that does not do it, you can try to redirect your links to the images using a 301 redirect plugin.
