As written in the Titel the Headimages of articles in our Website will appear only after resizing the firefox window on windows computers. You can chek it on our website spovo.de:
– Open the url
– look, if you can see images of the articles
– if not, resize the window and the images appear!
Additional infos:
– the problem does not appear on tablets or smartphones, just in desktop browser.
– the problem appears since updating to an PHP 7.4.14, WordPress 5.6 DE and Newspaper Theme 10.3 – older versions worked fine.
– I have tested with Mozilla Firefox and different windows (7 AND 10) on different computers (Notebook AND desktop PC), but I can not say, if this problem remians to other browsers, too.
My question: Has anyone an idea, what is wrong? Thanks for any support, stay healthy!

I checked your website and it seems to work well.
I can observe some big grids to have less pictures, that’s why they have grey spaces.
If the problem persist on your computer, then start looking for a plugin conflict.

Thank you for looking after it. Please ensure, that you tried with firefox. Other browsers seem to work, but that doesn’t help me since Firefox is very popular in Germany.
I now have tried Microsoft Edge 44.18362.449.0, Safari (iOS and PadOS) without problems, but in Mozilla Firefox, even in safe mode and deactivated plugins, the problem resists. All WordPress Plugins are latest versions.
To help you understand the problem, compare these two images:

I have updated newspaper theme and currently php 7.4 can I update my to php 8.
