Images set as "Header background" are made blurry and low-res.

I am using Header Style 9 and want to have a full-width image covered by my logo at the top.

I just cannot for the life of me figure out the aspect ratio it wants, or if that matters at all. Last image I used was 5446 × 3631 and it still was made into a thumbnail-sized photo in the header.

What am I doing wrong here guys?

Hello glenhagen,

Ensure that you have used the right image quality from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/j3j6GiVn when you load your image. Also, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.

Image is set to 696×464 (Large) currently. I have also tried using a 696×392 16:9 but experience the same issue.

Website is not published yet, want to sort this out first before rolling it out. Below is a picture of the issue with size set to “Full Height” and using Tile.

Clear all the caches and check the results.
