Hi all,
I have finally decided to migrate the componer and use the TagDiv one. I have many problems That I have overcome steps by steps but I´m stuck with one: images are shown oversized in their conteiners.
There is no problem with I use HTML element or any of the “blocks” elements. But when I want to use “single image” or a row of 4 images those are shown oversized and the composer try to fill the complete container. Meaning, if the image has 100px width and the conteiner of the image has 200px, the composer will oversize the image to 200px.
Any thought on that?

PD: if you look at my webpage is NOT using TagDiv composer right now but it´s the homepage what I´m trying to replicate.

the tagdiv composer will resize the single image element to 200 px by default if another value is not set to it. Please edit the page in the tagdiv composer and set the sizes again for those images. It is recommend to re-create the whole page if the settings do not apply as there could be problems in editing a p[age in the new page builder if it was originally created with the old one.

I´m creating the new page from scratch as it wasn´t working even “copy&paste” the code.
You said: image element to 200 px by default if another value is not set to it.
How would I set the width? The only option I found is height.
Nevertheless, now that I know that what it´s happenning is the normal behaviour of the tool I will play around a little bit more.
Please try to re-create the page from scratch not by copy paste. Create a blank page and add new elements to it. Copying the same code will render the new page creation null as it will no longer be a fresh page but rather just a copy of your previous page.

Hello, I also have a similar problem. When I’m uploading an image to my page via tagdiv, on a regular desktop it looks fine, when reducing the browser window, the image is cropped rather than being resized. The other issue is that there doesn’t seem to be any other options rather than a small white square in the middle of the image, or a greyed out version with a border. Help is appreciated, thanks,

Hello,
Please do not use both page builders at the same time as images get affected first. Please choose between one or the other but not both. We recommend the tagdiv composer as visual composer will receive no more new features. We will develop new options for our own builder exclusively.

Thanks for your reply, I’m still not quite sure of the solution. I deleted everything on the page that was in the page builder section, then I added an image via the image box and the problem still happened and was not adjusted properly as you move the desktop size.
– I only saw one example of the image you sent, the one with a border and greyed out. Does that mean there isn’t an option to show an image normally? Isn’t that just a basic function? I’m confused. Thanks again for the help.

Please provide a link to your website if possible, so we can inspect the issue. The Single image element will display the image without any other additions. The Image box gives the possibility to add a custom title and styles

On the home page, there are two images.
The single image does resize somewhat, then crop the edges so you can’t see the whole image.
The image box doesn’t seem to resize, just crop.
