Images With Description Below

Hello,

I have to do 50 or so images per page with links and descriptions for each.

I am using the “image box” under tagdiv and doing all four per images row. This is fine but still may not be right.

Can I add the description text “below” each image instead of on top and add a link in the text with these. It does not appear that this is possible within the boundaries set. So my questions are:\

1. How would I do 4 images across with text beneath and the option to add a link in the text to each image or;

2. Is there another way to do this? Maybe another module?

3. For the image box module, there are two display options. White box and with white border. The white border option makes the text look great but the image darkens too much. Can I adjust this?

4. For the white box text option, the image is nice and bright but the text box looks kinda ugly (especially on a page with 50 of these boxes)

I hope I have explained this correctly, any solution would be appreciated.

And to clarify- these are images I am individually placing for a static page – not ones from a blog or tagged in some way.
