Is there a way that when someone clicks on an image that the same type of popup that happens when clicking on the featured img happens? For instance If I go to a post and in the article I have a link to an img that I host or if I manually enter an image in the post text area… it will pop up in view box rather than loading new page of the image?

I have that enable already so that featured post imgs currently do pop up the way I want… I am curious if I can some how make it to where even text img links within posts and manually entered imgs in posts can also pop up the way featured images do instead of loading to a different page… Example here: http://goo.gl/MB6OYJ

The modal image works only if the image link goes to the media file: http://screencast.com/t/RyNmEEBjERb If the image links to a custom link the modal image can’t be displayed.

Ok on that same page I gave you… if you click on the twitter picture it goes to next page and does not just pop up but I have the settings and want not the way you say.
