Images

Hello,

we are using Newspaper for displaying video’s in posts. Every time we add a video from for example YouTube, around 25 images for this video are uploaded in the /upload directory. We now have 1100 video’s and we have more then 27.000 images. We estimate that we need to import 25.000 video’s. This means 625.000 images on our file system.

Is there a way to reduce this? Has this to do with the 13 Post Templates in the Newspaper theme? If yes, can we disable in some way some Post Templates, wo only use 3 or 4 templates.

You can disable image sizes not being used from the theme panel; also trick is to set three of the default WP > media smaall/medium/large sizes to the sizes you use most often.
