hello,
i’ve imported existing content from tumblr site, but no post pictures show up on main page. if i click a post, the pics are there, but not on main page.
have used thumbnail reg tool, no change to main page, but articles have the thumbs all aligned and resized nicely. the main page has nothing but text.

You images in post is like a gallery added. You can try with this plugin and see if works Automatic Featured Image Posts This plugin take the image form post and put it as featured image.
