First of all a huge thanks for the fantastic theme ! Newspaper8 has been working as a charm for me so far except for one thing which is that I can’t manage to get my Facebook Access Token. This means that the Facebook social count of my page is stuck at 0 when it has 460 in total. I have followed the steps of the help very precisely and even cleared my cache as advised (I work with Chrome). Is there another way I can get this token?

Thank you for your appreciations! Notice that the Access Token should work as expected because it was fully tested and it seems to work as properly. Ensure that you are using the latest theme version with the latest version of required plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. And very important: clear all your caching including the browser cache. Example for chrome: https://www.screencast.com/t/f9Q66lPx1fY
Now the access token should work as before.

A huge thanks for your prompt reply ! I installed the latest theme and plugins Newspaper 8 released yesterday and performed the cache clearing you advised. Thanks a lot for the screenshot by the way because it seems I didn’t have all the necessary boxes checked. Adding this little image to the help page would be a good idea ! đ
Unfortunately my setup was still not working so I completed my journey with drvarun5179 below. Thanks to the link he provided I was able to retrieve an access token for debug. Unfortunately, this didn’t make the counter work either. I am starting to suspect the problem I have is on my Facebook account’s side. I have tried different things with the identifier of my main account and of my Facebook page but nothing seems to be working so far. I’ll dig deeper and will come back to you if nothing works.

Many thanks for your suggestion! Your link helped me retrieve a Facebook access token.
Unfortunately the social counter is still not working for me. I’ll dig on my Facebook account’s side to check if everything is OK on this front.
