The changelog for the most recent version of the Newspaper theme states: “improvement: Button shortcode – Added custom field support for text and URL.”
When I add the button element, I don’t see any option to use the field from ACF. Am I misunderstanding how this works?

To set a URL on the button, use the element button and set the custom field there -> https://i.imgur.com/ZGYBjfE.png. You need to use {cf_nameoffield} -> https://i.imgur.com/F2ysuLA.png

Thank you. I’ll give that a try tonight. Just double checking, in your images is it Advanced Custom Fields plugin that you are using? Mine has a different name in the admin menu.

Yes, it is Advanced Custom Fields, but I think you have Secure Custom Fields. Those do the same thing.
