Hello,
Is it possible to include categories/tags in the search results?
If not, where is the function that deals with the search queries?

Hi,
Unfortunately this is not an easy task, you can try something like this in search template – http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/84549/including-categories-in-search-results note that we did not tested. If you don’t have php experience I suggest to get someone to help you, as we cannot provide custom work at this time.
