The theme contains a script or several functions that make excessive calls to index.php

Hi,

Do refer to this error? Call to undefined function: get_header()
If you do please try this solution – https://ardamis.com/2011/06/02/fix-for-php-fatal-error-get_header-in-wordpress/
If this is not what you mean, please provide more details.
