I am using Flex Block 4 and adding markup for italics to one word in the article title. But in the live title, the italics don’t appear. Can this be fixed?

I have tried both JJ 08/62: Giuffre date – the making of Thesis and JJ 08/62: Giuffre date – the making of <i>Thesis</i>. Neither work in Flex Block 4.

Hi,
I don’t think that using HTML in the article title is even supposed to work unfortunately. Usually it’s not used there. I am surprised that it works in the post page. In the modules it doesn’t however.
Maybe it can be done, but I believe it won’t be an easy thing to do if it is possible, and will require modifications in the theme, probably where the article title is fetched.
You could maybe use apostrophes around the word https://i.imgur.com/1CNuczs.png although it isn’t the same, but it will work.

Ok, Simion – thanks. I’ll have to live with it, though seems a strange omission in a publishing theme, since typography is an important publishing tool…
