Hi!
Help me figure out the infinite scrolling in the posts. Installed the plugin YITH Infinite Scrolling.
Which selector settings need to be specified?

If this plugin is not compatible with the theme, please tell me if you know another plug-in with similar functions.
Hi,
Unfortunately I can not make any plugin recommendations regarding this, because no such plugins were tested with the theme so I can not guarantee they will work properly. You could identify the selectors needed using the browser inspector tool – https://www.screencast.com/t/Utcyej8iC but I do not know if it will work or not. Try to search for other plugins with this functionality, maybe you can find one that works for you. The only navigation available for the posts by default is like this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-with-pagination/
Thanks
There is another plugin that adds this functionality:
Auto Load Next Post
But it also requieres a similar configuration:

I havent been successful with this since I think NEWS THEME doesnt have a nav tag in its code.
See: https://codex.wordpress.org/Next_and_Previous_Links
In this thread someone explains it but I not very techincal so I get lost when they get into functions…
Here is a video explaining how to set up:

I hope someone in support can help us
Hi,
@ozarga I can not provide a sure, foolproof working solution in this matter. As I previously replied you can try to identify the selectors needed using the browser inspector
– https://www.screencast.com/t/96AkT52oK
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QE7NQpWaAWs9

And try to use them in the required fields in the plugin. I can see that the plugin developers can help you setup the plugin for your website. You can try that and see if you can find a solution.
Thanks
So it’s safe to assume that Newspaper doesn’t support automatic loading of next post by default within the theme? That’s a shame cause it’s a very popular feature that in my opinion should be built into the theme by default instead of having to rely on yet another 3rd party plugin.
Hi,
Please note that at the moment such a feature is not available. If this request becomes popular or regardless it is considered as an option, it will be implemented in the theme. Each update is meant to improve the theme features and options, and the list of suggestions and recommendations is forever increasing. There can not be an update containing all these suggestions at once, this will happen in time.
The theme available options and features can be seen in the demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thank you for understanding!
