I would like to request an option in “Auto Loading Type” in Cloud Templates that would always load the first post on the site next (after the one you start on), then the second one, etc. If you happen to get started on the first post on the site, then it would just load the second one (not the first post again), the third one, and so on.
The reason I ask is that selecting something like “previous posts” doesn’t make a lot of sense for days-old posts that people get started on. I think a lot of sites would rather have users see their latest posts instead of the ones that were published before an older post.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please notice that the only functionality, in this case, in our theme is Infinite Loading for Single Posts which can be enabled according to our documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Hi Catalin,
I don’t think you understand my request. This request is in addition to the currently-available auto loading types: “previous posts,” “next posts,” “same category previous,” and “same category next.”
Thanks.
Hi,
If I understand corporeally you are referring to infinite load on blocks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BU8YZYTqUO , you can do the sorting after latest and set the pagination on infinite load.
Block settings guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m getting back to this request cause it’s exactly what we need too. User mparlevliet is referring to the single post autoload feature. https://prnt.sc/1s9lsup
From your options panel the four options are: “previous posts,” “next posts,” “same category previous,” and “same category next.”. What we are requesting is another option to show the latest articles from the same category (excluding the article that is already shown, of course). So if for example you are at an article that’s the 15th most recent in it’s category, then underneath it we would like to have the ability to show the 1st, then the 2nd and so on.
