Ads are not showing inside the single post. I have used custom template for single post.

For a cloud post template the ad code must be entered in the template itself, in the single post content element https://prnt.sc/ucu56v
If that is what you did and it is not displayed, I could take a look.
At the moment from what I can see by checking a post from your website, there is no ad entered in the post content https://prnt.sc/ucu5zv
If you are using other cloud pot templates and entered the ads in them, please provide a link to a post that uses those post templates.

As it should be added in the template itself, how can i adjust the size of the ads as per the screen size?

If you want specific ad sizes per screen size, for the article ads when using cloud post templates that could only be done like this https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9183363?hl=en
