Since I updated the theme I have issues with a a lot of my posts containing Instagram embeds. A lot of the times the emebds aren’t working and I just see the Instagram url. I have looked if it’s an issue with oEmbed but I can’t find anyone with related issues.
I just paste the IG links in the editor and it converts them to embeds. I then publish the post and everything seems to work but after some time (can be hours or days) the embeds ‘breaks’ and the front end just shows the Instagram url/link instead of the embed.
I tried wiping the oEmbed cache from post_meta in the database and this seems to temporarily fix the issue until some time goes by and the embeds break again.
A lot of our writers aren’t handy with html/code so using Instagrams embed code isn’t really an option.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I have no plugins active which could cause a conflict. I run a high traffic website so I cannot deactivate the child theme.
