Hi, I just realised that Newspaper version 7.1.1 uses the ‘old’ Instagram icon – are there plans to update this in the near future or should I amend the code?

At the moment we have no plan on adding it as we did not consider it a priority. We will adjust it but I cannot provide an ETA on it. Sorry!

Hi,
We are aware that instgram has lots of users but this does not mean all users will require the new icon just because instagram changed theirs. Most of those users hate the new icon anyway :). I will pass this information on to our development team and they will decide when it gets done. It’s all I can do for now.
