My Newspaper theme is highly customized, and last time I tried to update to a new version, I guess the class versions changed, because I lost a whole bunch of customization. So I reverted back to the original version I bought.
Meanwhile, I’ve never been able to fix the Instagram footer issue, even using the Pastebin code given:
Can you recommend another fix, or possibly do you know of a good plugin I can use that mimics the same functionality? I already have one, but it doesn’t have a footer option that’s as nice.

Please update the theme to the latest version of it installed via FTP way and check the results.

You should try to make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your customizations, sorry! Please notice that the first step for WordPress debugging is to try the theme without any customization and untested plugins in default mode. If not then it does not work, it seems to be a problem or if will works, means that the problem comes from your customizations or theme installing. Please do this and check the results.
