instagram widget does not show the latest pictures

hi there,

instagram widget does not show the latest pictures of my account erfurter.in on website http://www.puffbohne.de – it does not update. To clear the cache does not help with this. Something wrong?

The images are the same. Please note that this is not a live widget. It will grab the latest info but it will only make a few requests per day to the server to keep requests to a minimum.

2. Контент уже был подтянут, но теперь исчез из виджета. – Conten wa grabbed, but now – disappered.

@Bogdan B. You say it makes a few requests per day to the server for updates?

I don’t understand why we don’t ever see it update? Since activating it on the site i think we have seen it update once. We update our Instagram channel a few times per week so why doesn’t it update.

If like you said, it makes a few requests per day for updates that would be fine. But it seems more like an update per month at the moment.

If clearing caches dont help and we cant force updates i guess i have to make do with how it is.

I’v disable this feature because it’s make my site slowly (ping to ip instagrm too long). It’s api instagram problem.

Hi @Catalin,

Since posting on here it seems that it has finally updated.

We have added another post to instagram about an hour ago from writing this comment which hasnt been updated to the instagram section on the site yet, but i dont expect it to be just yet anyway.

If later tonight or tomorrow morning i can see the Instagram update we did an hour ago then i think its working as it should be. If by this time tomorrow its still not updated then we have issues with the requests.
