Install – Template is missing

Hopefully this is easy to fix. When I tried uploading the zip it kept failing, so I uploaded the unzipped by FTP instead. Now I’m getting the broken theme error message on the theme selection screen saying ‘Template is Missing’. Any suggestions?

Hello Rhino99

This issue is simple to fix.

When you download the copy of newspaper theme from themeforest as below shown hierarchy

– child-theme
– documentation
– Licensing
– licesing
– patch_4.4_4.5
– plugins
– psd
– changed_files_4.4_4.5
– Newspaper <============= You have to extract this and upload via FTP to themes folder
– update_log

@Rhino99 Please make sure you do as @wpdiv wrote and upload the unzipped Newspaper folder via FTP in your themes folder and check again.
Please let me know if you managed to get this done and if you have any others theme related issues.
