Installation failed for Newspaper tagDiv Composer plugin

I’ve received the error message described below. Also, I was unable to install the recommended plugins with the same error message. Please advise.

Installing Plugin: tagDiv Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.

Downloading installation package from https://www.jonathanics.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip?uid=5c36dd2e6d7df…

Download failed. cURL error 35: gnutls_handshake() failed: A TLS fatal alert has been received.

Hi,

That would be a common WordPress error, there are various suggestions and solutions online to try and see why this is happening. Even the hosting provider may have an idea what the problem is.
But the easier solution would be to install the plugin a different way.By FTP for example

– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/

It could be an issue with curl with your hosting setup. You could contact the hosting provider, they may be able to help. Or install the plugins by FTP.
