As you indicated I am installing version 9.6 as a new thema, since the update from my version 4.6, it is not possible.
I delete all themas and I deactivate all the plugins but when installing Newspaper I generate the following error:

Well I think I have solved the installation problem.
Now I have to update all the information but I have some doubts:
Should the “pages” be created new to move from Visual Composer to tagDIV Composer?

Also please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps
