Installed Google Captcha via theme settings, now can't log in

Hi there,

I installed Google captcha v3 in Theme Panel -> Social/API, but after logging out I can’t log back into WP and get the error “ERROR: Google reCAPTCHA verification failed.” I removed all captchas from the Google account but the error still persists.. any idea how I can fix this and log in again?

Thanks Bettina for the the suggestion.

Seem like the article mainly refers to the lost password related issue, but there aren’t any references to being blocked by the Google reCaptcha thing. I can’t log in to my wordpress which makes it this much tricky… I’m going to try to bring the previous version of the website and see if that helps, but if you have any more suggestions please let me know.

Hello @maciej !

Our Captcha feature can let everyone login to their WordPress dashboard. So, there must be something about security on your server. I suggest you contact your server provider and address this issue. Maybe they can have an idea and check the problem on your server.

Thanks for the update – I restored a backup version and it works now. I’ll give it another go.
