I have a busy site and over 1500 pieces of content. I want to experiment with one of the demos but I am not clear if I can revert back?
I only want to install the demo in conjunction with my own existing content and experiment, I am anxious of not being able to revert or finding my content accidentally deleted and layouts messed up.
I will backup prior of course, currently I’m using default demo with my own content and customisations.

Hello,
The demo can be uninstalled so nothing will be lost or overwritten, but just to be on the safe side, you can create a sub-domain and try the demo on that one first to see how things go. https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/testing-environment-wordpress/
