Installing Newspaper v3

I’ve had issues with running updates since v2.0. I’m now running the latest version of WordPress and I still cannot run install the update to Newspaper 3.0.1. So I have two questions:

1. Can someone help me get up to date?
2. What is causing my updates not to work?

Updates via WP panel don’t often work due to mixed permissions on folders, where apache/server owns some things, and the ftpuser/site owner “owns” other things. If WordPress was installed via hosting panel vs manually via FTP, this is a very common problem.

Best way to upload, install, update any theme typically is to do so manually via FTP. (Making sure you backup everything before doing updates, of course.)

You can often check “ownership” permissions via your hosting panel/file manager, as it will show who owns what.
