Invisible row search bar

Hello!
We were doing some checks in our website through the search bar and looking for a brand, but others come out as well. Via debug console (firefox) we saw that there are invisible rows that have name-brand that has nothing to do with it. This only happens with article posts that have been created via cloud templates.

Specifically we found this (an invisible submenu that we never created)

<ul class=”sub-menu”>
<li id=”menu-item-6367″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-taxonomy menu-item-object-category menu-item-6367″>category1
<li id=”menu-item-6368″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-taxonomy menu-item-object-category menu-item-6368″>category2/a>
<li id=”menu-item-6369″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-taxonomy menu-item-object-category menu-item-6369″>
category3

*for privacy I made the href generic in the example above

hello Bettina,
we have investigated the problem and practically the search bar also finds the words present in the menu / sub menu (desktop and mobile). is there a way to make it search only in the title of the page or article? or at least exclude the menu from the search?

Hello @yk-4!

Unfortunately, there is no filter to exclude the menu from search, sorry.

Thank you!
