Is featured duplicate content

so currently I would like to know if I am creating duplicate content for google by ticking 2 differnet catagories such as “featured” and “info” these are two catagories I have listed.

I need to have it in the “info” category but I also would like it featured on my front page. however simply choosing the info category as my featured posts is not an option.

Having content in multiple categories like entertainment and books, is not duplicate content as those are only lead-ins to the actual page/post with the full content.

However, having 20 tags, where the one story would be the only thing on those tag pages might be. Which is why you often choose to only have categories in your Google XML sitemap and not tags. So, tags are best used to group semantic ideas with specific uses, like having a tag index of stories related to nonfiction, vs having a nonfiction category page.

Featured is often used only to identify content which should be featured someway like best of the best, or things which get pulled onto front page in largest element.

Hope that helped.
