Is featured set in the theme panel somewhere?

Hi there. Sorry for asking so many questions but there is another thing I would like to figure out.

I do not want my featured posts to change url to /featured/ so therefore I have to make sure that the featured category has the highest ID. Therefore I created a new featured category and then deleted the original category. Regarding the url: That is working flawlessly.

I know other themes sometimes use a setting for the featured category (for sliders etc) but so far I have not been able to find this.

I think I do not need to change the theme panel settings but I would like to be sure :).

Hi,

The featured category and featured filter and sorting is used throughout the theme but it is used by name so as long you have an category called featured it should not matter.

I renamed the new Featured category, including it’s slug, so should be fine then. Thanks for confirming.
