Hello,

Is it coming a 9.2.1 (or 9.3) version to fix WordPress 5 bugs in the next week?
I’m just asking because i’m interested to update WordPress to 5.0, and i would like to have a stable version of the template for it.

I just want confirmation that there’s bugs and it’s not just me. Site is just running super slow. Going to try deactivating plugins now to see if it changes.

Hi,

Unfortunately there will be no update next week, sorry.

Some users recommend to test the new WordPress update on a local copy of the website, or testing environment, not the live website. This would be safer indeed.

Others will not make the update for the time being and prefer to monitor the developing situation, for example

– https://wpml.org/2018/12/wait-before-updating-to-wordpress-5-0/

If you find any problems with the Newspaper 9.2 and WP 5, please let as know them.

Good news, turns out the issue with me was fixed when GoDaddy just restarted the server.
