Could you please check your sites with BuddyPress installed. See the:
http://yoursite.com/members/user/
http://yoursite.com/members/user/notifications/
or any other BuddyPress pages and see if there are comments.

Be sure to have enabled comments on pages on Panel> Template> Page Template

Hi,
The buddypress is using the theme page template so it is a normal behavior if Page Comments are enabled from Theme Panel to appear comments area on page.
