I would like to add a general category menu to the sidebar category, other than the popular category. Is there any way to do this? I would also like to see subcategories displayed under the parent category.

Hello!
You can build a menu with the categories and subcategories you want to display, and using a cloud template, you can add the shortcode List Menu to the sidebar.
You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want from the tagdiv Composer to the second column and consider it a sidebar
