Can you please let me know how to let the theme show full excerpt on the main page without … when it is long? Is there any way to make it unlimited? For example if there are 1000 words to let all 1000 words appear on the main page in the excerpt?
Can you also please advise if it is possible to make the links appear in the excerpt on the main page? For example if I have 2 different links in the post, is there any way to make those links appear on the main page in the post the excerpt?

Our theme excerpt system will cut excerpts to a set number of words or letters. However there is an excerpt override in post settings allowing you to manually add an excerpt to each post: http://screencast.com/t/5EMyT78c

Super! Is there any way to keep links in that field in order to let them appear on the main page?
How come I don’t see the excerpt with my interface?
Do I have to activate something? I do see my post settings but I don’t see the excerpts below that.
I’m using the recipe theme. Maybe that has something to do with that?
You need to click settings in the top right part of the screen and but tick in front of the excerpt in order to allow this field appear
Nevermind!!!It wasn’t activated in my article options settings. ALl is good.

Links will appear in the excerpt field, but they will not be clickable. It is the way the excerpts were made. Excerpts were designed to work as a sample data of the post so the user can see a small preview of the content, not use the full features of the content. This will require customization for it to work. There is no easy way of activatin links in the excerpt.
As an alternative you can display the full post content by using module 15 for pages’s layout: http://screencast.com/t/C367cAKea This module will display all post content including links, images and videos. But this is not a block element. It can only be used on category pages, or the latest articles section.

For the main page you can only use custom excerpts. The module I mentioned is not available on pages. Please use the custom excerpt option on posts if you want to have a custom excerpt everywhere like so: http://screencast.com/t/cGx1Q1W6v This way you will have better controll over the excerpt but the downside is it cannot be automatic. You have to add a custom excerpt on every post.
