I think this would be great, if possible. I don’t see float/fix the video plater on mobile as an option, anywhere, but having the ability to play a video and make it stay put, while the viewer scrolls through the content, would be great. Any idea on how to do this?

How about, “we don’t support this option but here’s where you can put in a feature request”.
Or better yet,
“This option isn’t supported but here’s what you can try adding to your themes custom css to solve the problem you are having”.
