Is it safe to update my site to wordpress 5.9.1

Hi
I have Newspaper 11.4.1 loaded into my website. Have been prompted to update to the latest version of WordPress (5.9.1). Last time I updated wordpress, my formatting went crazy. Is it okay to just upgrade to the latest version of WordPress now?

Hello,

We will make an update soon, we are currently testing if there are any problems with version 5.9.1, if we find it, we will solve it.
You can update WordPress when you update the theme.
Also, I recommend that for future updates when you want to do them, make the update with only tagDiv plugins activated during the update process, and deactivate the other plugins.
There is a possibility that some plugins may interfere with the theme update process.
