I tried upgrading from Newspaper 4.4.4 yesterday but everything looked messed up so I had to go back to a backup version of my site. (The good news was the updater script worked so my sidebars were preserved)
I have a Woocommerce plugin which requires no woocommerce.php which is what I see we have in Newspaper 4. I am trying to work out if it is worth persevering with upgrading to 6 but I won’t if it is also has a woocommerce.php file.

Hi,
Newspaper 6 is fully compatible with woocommerce, if you download the theme and take a look at the file structure, you will see that there is no woocommerce.php.
