Is Newspaper not compatible with Yoast SEO?

Hello

When I change to Newspaper Theme, Yoast SEO displays this option “Force rewrite titles”

Before that, I use Jnews theme, when I changed to Newspaper Theme, traffic drops significantly. I waited a month then changing theme to Jnews again, the traffic increases. Now, after a month, I decided to change to Newspaper again to test, the traffic drops. So I think that Newspaper might not compatible with Yoast, please check it.
