Is the Date Selector/Picker in Gutenberg Broken for this Theme?

Hi, I just want to know why is the date selector in Gutenberg broken for Newspaper theme?

Hi,

The date picker from Gutenberg is working normal with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/odVGh7Rhc maybe you have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Hi Calin,

Yeah, I did disabled all the plugins and cleared the cache. It seems to be loading the gutenberg-editor.css from the Newspaper theme file. I tried removing that css and it worked. Any more ideas?

Hi,

Usually these kind of problems appear when you make overwrite on theme, we recommend to delete the old version first, after that install the new one, also make sure that you do not have child theme activate.

Hi Calin,

I found out the culprit, it’s Table of Contents Plus plugin. Just sharing just in case other people are having a similar problem.
