Is there an alternative to Visual Composer Page Builder?

Hi,

I’m a very new blogger so I am in the early stages of learning. I just switched themes and removed all of the shortcode from my old theme. Is it possible to build pages without shortcode? Also, is it possible to use Newspaper without Visual Composer. I’m afraid of Visual Composer becoming disabled and losing my content/formats as others have reported.

I’m also confused. This theme comes with Visual Composer. But is there also a Tagdiv page builder? Should I use that one instead? Your video tutorial for creating a homepage speaks about Visual Composer.

So many questions. I apologize but i’m confused

We switched to the TagDiv BETA Page Builder … simpler to use, and less resource heavy and (in my opinion), more reliable! Using it on 10 websites right now 🙂

Thanks! I”ve been trying to find the beta but it seems to have been removed because I keep getting a 404 page.

You are correct, the github page does appear to be down/gone.

I posted a query in the plugin support forum. Bizarro.

Maybe they are changing it with the impending theme updates for December coming “real soon now.” 🙂
